4th of July 2008!

Our 4th of July celebrations started on July 3 at Braeden's school. There was a parade towards the end of school. It was fun to see all the kids and families dressed in Red, White, and Blue and singing the Pledge of Allegiance!

Braeden is the only one wearing yellow in this picture.

This picture is kind of blurry but that is my friend Nicki with her little guys!

Here is Braeden walking in the parade with Mrs. Allen. Can you tell her is slightly pissed? His cool star sunglasses got knocked off!

Brett had the day off on the 4th...YEA! We had a mellow morning that consisted of many things, even putting American Flags in the front yard! There was no consistency or pattern since Braeden did this himself! Later we headed to the Gale's. They used to live across the street from us but moved a few months ago to Claremont to a beautiful house with an awesome backyard! After yummy food, drinks and swimming there, we were off to our next destination.....fireworks with the Bloem's!

This was a pretty high jump that he LOVED!


We met, Cat, KC and Caiden over Rancho San Antonio Medical Center.....no, we were not in need of medical attention! There is a nice big grassy area where you can see the firework show from the Quake Stadium. The grassy area seemed to be a great hit with tons of people there. Caiden and Braeden had a blast running around, playing with glow sticks (thanks KC!), having snacks and watching fireworks!

It was a long but fun day! Braeden was up at 6:15a.m. and went to bed that night at a little after 10p.m. and had no nap! Considering all that we did that day he did excellent and even slept in until a little after 8!
